While the NYT declares that Iraq has moved perilously close to civil war, Ralph Peters says in the NY Post

THE reporting out of Baghdad continues to be hysterical and dishonest. There is no civil war in the streets. None. Period.

Interesting. I have a question. Which has lasted longer – the ‘civil war’ in Iraq or the riots last fall in France?

The other story we don’t seem to hear about is how the trial of Saddam Hussein is progressing. Apparently, it’s progressing a little better than we’ve been told.
