Church Music

I’m not a big fan of (most) of the music I hear in church now (ever since Vatican II, actually). But that’s ok. I’m just a fan of Gregorian Chants, I suppose.

But today I was struck by how much I was affected by (and enjoyed) America the Beautiful, chosen as the recessional for today’s proximity to the 4th. Couldn’t help but sing along. And most everyone in church, including (maybe especially?) the men did too.
